The food in Penang was fantastic with Malaysia continuing to be a true melting pot of different Asian cultures and cuisines

The view of the Andaman Sea from the top of the gondola in Langkawi was magnificent and had us excited for our journey to Koh Lipe and further into Thailand. The bridge was a little dizzying but Tyce enjoyed it and made sure to get some photos. This was our final stop in Malaysia before taking the ferry to Koh Lipe and going through our second land border crossing

Next stop: Koh Lipe and Bangkok 🇹🇭

We’ll be taking a short ferry across the Malaysian border to Thailand and relaxing on the beach for a few days before ~25hrs of travel via ferry/bus/train to Bangkok.

We’re surpassing over two weeks without our phones and it’s been a weird but pretty hilarious experiment. Our Kindle account has been getting a workout and we’ve played countless rounds of Uno, Monopoly Deal (thanks Sam!) and Yahtzee (a family classic).
